Grace Olivia
My name is Grace and I'm a fashion addict. Ever since I was a little girl I was looking in fashion magazines ripping out pictures to put on my walls. I love that fashion is an outlet we can use to express individuality. Fashion has always been, for me, a way to have fun. And I hope to become a fashion journalist (crossing my fingers) once I graduate. So if you like my blog, follow me. It would be much appreciated.

City Love
Just an exciting announcement. This summer I’ll be taking classes in New York City for fashion journalism and magazine design. I’m beyond excited, and I’m already brainstorming ideas. Here’s a mock up of a cover that I did. I’m looking forward to absorbing the whole city’s atmosphere and I’ll have three weeks to do so. And I will definitely be uploading a lot of posts about my travels and outfits. I’ll also grab something special for you guys to put in a giveaway, because I love you…

Emerald City
Emerald is the new tangerine, according to Pantone Universe. Emerald has been selected as the color of the year by the Pantone color empire. And that’s a great thing for me because that means an emerald collection of makeup at Sephora, and a fresh crop of new emerald fashion. You see, when I was a little girl my mom ALWAYS said that emerald was the color for red heads, so it suits me perfectly.

Graphic Impact
One of the biggest spring trends this year is black on white. It’s because the contrasting colors make outfits visually interesting. It has a big graphic impact! Find tops in stripes and other fun prints to pair with crisp black pants to create the ultimate classy outfit. Or go for more slouchy pieces to make a look that’s casual and chic. And this is a trend that no matter what your personal style is, you can rock it.

Back to the 90s
Dries Van Noten’s Paris runway is bringing grunge back for this spring. Instead of going for bright, floral, girly pieces, go for muted colors, plaids, and a slouchy fit. I loved this runway show because of the blast to the past. Grunge has been popping up on my radar as a major trend and I couldn’t be loving it more.
