DIY Diva

DIY projects are always something I think about as a blogger, but I never really get to them. They always end up being a second thought. But soon I’m going to be attempting a variance of fashion related tutorials for you guys to try out. Who knows what it’ll be. I’m thinking along the lines of ombre jackets, studded shoes, flower crowns, and turbans. I’m hoping you guys will like the idea. Its nothing new or groundbreaking, but it could be fun…

Shine On

I don’t know if it’s possible to obsess over a trend more than I’m obsessing over this one. A holographic, metallic material that shines different colors of the rainbow at every angle. With a super futuristic feel it makes for an interesting statement. The key to a more subdued look is in the accessories: shoes and bags in particular. I especially love the high top sneakers shown below. So tell me, would you wear this trend?

Obsession

I just stumbled upon the new website Miss KL, Karmaloop’s new web based shop all for the ladies. Look what I found. Animal graphics have proven to be a huge trend recently and I am in love. These Jeffrey Campbell Homg sneakers with a fierce Tiger print are the ultimate shoes. I’m typically not a huge sneaker girl, I love heels, boots, and sandals, but I am seriously digging these. For me to be attracted to a sneaker enough to buy it, it has to be special. I love spikes or prints, something that stands out. They are only $78 which is a great deal less expensive than some other Jeffrey Campbell shoes. They definitely need to be added to my wishlist. What do you think?

Damsel in Distress

AAHHHHHH.  Check out these Jeffrey Campbell Damsel boots. They are beyond amazing. They are distressed and studded to perfection, with a great cross detail  on the back. I have always been a huge admirer of Jeffrey Campbell shoes, especially the Lita and Damsel styles. They are always gorgeous and they come in so many variations. Any girl can find the perfect pair to suit her individual style, whether she be attracted to edgy, girly, or glamorous. Long story short, I’m in love.

Obsession

I am so obsessed with these Jeffrey Campbell  Aubrey shoes. With a classic, sophisticated nude color, and dainty ankle strap they have a modern elegance. But they have an added wow factor. Super edgy studs and spikes make the shoes crazy amazing. They’re definitely attention grabbers, surely not for those who wish to blend in with the crowd. In my opinion they are the perfect blend of chic and dangerous to make a beautifully contradictory style statement. But, I can’t be the only one that loves them to death. What do you think?

Shoes, Glorious Shoes…

I don’t want to bum anyone out, but summer is almost over. And guess what that means? Fall is on its way. Personally Fall is my favorite time of year for fashion, although I love summer as well, I mean I am a summer baby after all (August 14). There are always more possibilities with Fall, and not to mention I love layering, and when it’s pushing 90 degrees all anyone wants to do is take it all off and head to the beach (including me). But I’ve been thinking about shoes lately. And here is my Fall shoe inspiration. I’m loving glitter and studs right now, as well as beautiful pastels. And I’ve been wondering, how many of you guys are feeling the wedge sneakers? I actually really disliked them at first, but they are really growing on me. So, what’s your go-to Fall shoe?

Oh My Gosh…

Check out these sweet bubblegum pink kicks from Forever 21. Oh my gosh. Love these much?! I am totally getting a pair for my birthday! Which is coming up on the 14th of August by the way! I can’t wait. I am so excited! And even better is that these shoes are only $22.80, which is SUCH an amazing  deal.

Creepers

One of my favorite spring trends? The creepers. They were brought back into the fashion spotlight by Prada in their Spring 2012 collection. I know these shoes aren’t for everyone, but I love them. They add quirkiness, even a little bit of an edge to anything. I’m seriously looking into getting a pair for spring. Here are some favorites of mine.

Obsession

I went shopping with a friend yesterday and I saw this amazing pair of shoes. I’m convinced I’ve just found my latest obsession in these leopard print booties. And the best part? They’re only $32 at Forever 21. I think the picture kind of says it all. And I’m definitely buying a pair of these shoes.
